League Result; Kitwell 4v1 Nonsuch, Quinton 4v1 Nonsuch

Two final tough away fixtures saw the Nonsuch team give Quinton and title winners Kitwell much harder games than the final scores suggest.

A massive well done to the team who all made their first appearances of the season. Nonsuch have used a total of 14 players across the four games, the highest of any of the other schools!

With the league now over, attention will turn to the Schools Cup in the spring.

Bartley Green Schools – Year 6 Table Tennis Tournament.

Nonsuch were well represented at the recent inter-school Table Tennis tournament. A massive well done to Year 6 pupils who did so well, despite having had no practice before the event – you were superb.

Professional Football Coach here for the afternoon!

On Thursday 30th November Nonsuch Primary School had a special guest to visit. Emily Westwood, Birmingham City Ladies Vice-Captain came and coached a small group of girls in the art of tackling, team work and defence. There were a variety of activities that Emily gave the girls to do, ranging from noughts and crosses to a 6-a-side game. Each activity brought the teams closer together and showed what football can offer.

Every girl that participated enjoyed the activities, team games, skills and the opportunity to meet Emily. They were also able to lots of questions about what life was like to be a Footballer and to get her autograph!

The behaviour was exceptional and each and every one who participated was an asset to the school.

Mr Kelly.

Friday 1st December.

The Yr 5 Dodgeball team made a superb start to their competitive fixtures when they visited St Michael's last Friday. A mixture of skill, determination and teamwork saw them overcome both St Michael's teams to finish winners on the night. We now look ahead to the visit of Quinton for the next round of matches.
